What’s on YOUR Counter?

I have learned a lot about dealing with food over the past few months.

The biggest lesson I learned – you have to mix things up!

I can scan websites and print recipes here and there – but in the end what works for me is a hands on cookbook.  And this is from a dedicated Kindle reader.  I need the BOOK in my hand.

A few of my most recent additions:

Nom Nom Food For Humans by Michelle Tam of Nom Nom Paleo

Against All Grain by Danielle Walker of Against All Grain

The Art of Healthy Eating: Slow Cooker by Maria Emmerich of Maria Mind, Body & Health

The Art of Healthy Eating: Savory  by Maria Emmerich of Maria Mind, Body & Health

The Art of Healthy Eating: Sweets by Maria Emmerich of Maria Mind, Body & Health

The Art of Healthy Eating: Kids by Maria Emmerich of Maria Mind, Body & Health

Well Fed by Melissa Joulwan of The Clothes Make the Girl

All of these amazing women are a HUGE inspiration to me.  I cannot tell you how excited I am to be trying new foods in new ways.  It is a pivotal point to continuing this lifestyle into the new year.

I highly recommend you spend some time on Maria Mind Body and Health if you are interested in learning more about a sugar-free, grain-free, low carb lifestyle.  It is a favorite of mine!
